A BOOK OF SPELLS FOR SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media is black magic. This is your spellbook.

Write once and every tower lights up: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube and nine more, each in its own shape, at the hour its people are awake. Hox, your familiar, does the chores and asks before anything goes out.

Contents

Five chapters and a reading, one card each.

Every part of hexhox is a card in the deck and a chapter of the book. Turn to any of them.

AN INTERLUDE

Cast once. Land everywhere.

Six lights for the six platforms most people post to; fifteen in all

A day with the book

Five chapters, one for each thing social takes from your day.

07:40 · THE OWLERY · CHAPTER I

Of Casting

rite a thing once, and hexhox makes of it what each platform wants: a thread for Bluesky and Threads, a long post for LinkedIn, a square with its alt text for Instagram, a caption for TikTok. You see every copy as it will appear and may change any one alone. Each goes out at the hour its own readers are awake, learned from your numbers.

In the margin: threads are split by sentence, never mid-word; X charges per post now, and the book says what it costs before you cast.

HOXYour people save Instagram posts at half past six. I put the carousel there.

Of Charms

very comment, reply, mention and message, from every platform that permits it, gathers at one table, and the ones worth answering rise to the top: the customer's question before the compliment, the buyer before the bot. Hox may draft an answer that sounds like you. You send it.

In the margin: the book never messages a stranger on your behalf. Some spells are not worth casting.

HOXMarta is a buyer, not a browser. I drafted an answer; it is yours to send.

Of Scrying

he book reads every platform's numbers and tells you in sentences what moved and why: which post travelled past your followers, who it reached, whether they saved it or scrolled on. Kept beside tidekeeper, it follows a post to the visit, the sign-up and the sale, with no cookie and no Google.

In the margin: a save means useful, a share means it spoke for them, a reply means it asked a question.

HOXThe glaze thread travelled because people saved it. Shall I draft its sequel?

Why it moved. Tuesday's glaze thread reached four times your usual on Threads; 7 in 10 who saw it don't follow you, and most saved it. It brought 412 visits and 9 orders.

Of the Familiar

ach book comes with a familiar. Hox reads what you have already written, your newsletter, your notes, a voice memo, last month's best posts, and proposes the week from them. Your own assistant may open the book too: Claude, ChatGPT or your own agent, through MCP. Whatever casts, Hox asks you first, on your phone or your wrist.

In the margin: the platforms now bury mass-made posts. A familiar that writes from your own words keeps you from being one of them.

HOXHere is next week, made from your October newsletter and two voice notes.

How much Hox may do alone

The default: approved posts go out at their hour; anything new, any reply and Hox’s drafts ask.

02:00 · WHILE YOU SLEEP · CHAPTER V

Of Wards

othing leaves the castle without your yes. The book speaks to each platform only through the door the platform built, so no account is banned for using it. Your words and numbers stay in the European Union, are never sold and never train anyone's model. Every cast is in the log, word for word.

In the margin: approvals, roles and quiet hours for teams; a link a client can say yes on without an account.

Your week, read from your own numbers.

Three cards: when to post, what to make again, who to answer. Pull one from your Bluesky, Threads or Mastodon handle for free; keep it, or share it as a picture.

THE HOUR

Post at 18:30. Most of last month’s saves came between six and eight in the evening.

The glaze thread reached four times your usual. Make its sequel: how you test a glaze.

THE CHARMER

Answer Marta first. She asked about a wedding set: a buyer, not a browser.

For the keyboard

The keyboard is a wand.

Every spell is a keystroke away in the app and a command away in the terminal. Your assistant gets the same spells through MCP, and the same rule: it asks before it casts.

Questions, in the margin.

Does Hox write my posts?

Only if you ask, only from your own words, and never sent without your yes. The platforms now hide mass-made posts; the book makes you sound more like yourself.

Is the reading fortune telling?

No. Every card is your own data, counted plainly, and says what it was counted from. The cards are only the way we show it.

Where is my data?

In the EU, with Point Free ApS in Denmark. Never sold, never used to train a model.

The last plate. The seal on the page, Hox beside it, the candle still lit.

Close the book. The spells keep working.
